Large Vintage Afghan Wool Kllim Bag #4

Some of the most beautiful wool work in the world comes from Afghanistan. Intricately woven and
colored with natural dyes this bag was originally used as a saddlebag for a donkey. But like fine wool rugs these bags are not diminished by age, in fact they seem to grow more and more attractive as they wear in. just the right size for a generous pillow cover & with the kind of quality
and craftsmanship that transcends trends and endures for centuries. Done in traditional Afghani patterns in shades of rust & orange, cream, deep brown, black, gray, and yellow with fringe in these colors. The reverse is a continuation of the same piece with a simpler decoration of stripes.
